Ash Win the House Cup 2020

Our congratulations to Ash, who have won the 2020 House Cup.

At Crown Wood, the children and staff are divided into four houses - Oak, Ash, Elm and Beech.  House matches and are used to promote friendly competition during the year.  The children also receive 'house points' for demonstrating the school's values in lessons and home learning.

The grand finale is the School Sports Day (and Athletics Competition) in July, after which the House Cup is awarded to the House with the most points over the year.  This year we had a virtual sports day and every participant, whether at home or school, earned points.

The final tally was:

Elm - 16,444 (4th)
Oak - 18,488 (3rd)
Beech - 19,745 (2nd)
Ash - 20,462 (1st)

Well done to all those who took part and to the Captain and Vice-Captains.
